Everybody arriving in Dublin asks, where is Temple Bar. It is the liveliest spot in Dublin on any given night. The streets are thronged with people all out having a good time. There are many very good restaurants and a lot of bars playing live music, usually Irish music. The Temple Bar pub looks small from the outside but it seems to be like a 'tardis' upon entering. You will find numerous different areas and always full, of people singing dancing and throwing back the black stuff, Guinness...

The
Jameson Whiskey museum, located on Bow Street in
Smithfield, in Dublin. When I first moved to Ireland my husband and I
bought our first home here, an apartment overlooking this lovely
courtyard with
its copper pots and old chimneys mixed together with the modern steel
structures of the new build. They have recently renovated and parts of
the foyer entrance are a little different now but everything else is the
same. It's a very busy tourist destination, everybody coming to taste
the fine Irish Whiskey. The whiskey in Ireland has a more distinct
flavour because it is triple distilled, unlike the Scottish whisky which
is only double distilled or the American whisky is only distilled once.
Not that I am an expert on this but I much prefer Irish Whiskey. Maybe
while ..

Kinsale is a beautiful, quaint sailing port town at the very south of
Ireland with its French flavour, the town is full of restaurants,
galleries and quaint little boutique shops. I love all the brightly
coloured buildings, they really lift your spirits...

The Clock on Thomas Street painted in bright orange colours. I painted this because I pass it every time I travel in town on the bus from Inchicore. There is a lot of history in this area including the Guinness brewery and a lot of antique stores...
