It is a very popular destination on the tourist trail and when you enter through the castle like gate, there is an open courtyard and then further inside are many very old and small rooms all filled with real Irish character. Everybody arriving in Dublin asks, where is Temple Bar. It is the liveliest spot in Dublin on any given night. The streets are thronged with people all out having a good time.
